Aug 12 is the 71st Anniversary of Wizard of Oz. While a lot of people would always connect the song 'Somewhere over the rainbow' with this show, while my personal fave is still the part they are singing 'We are off to see the wizard because,because, because!'

another thing is the muchkins do remind me of the oompa loompas from anotehr show...hmm though the oompa loompa songs did stuck in my brain for a while.

Back then i always thought that wizard of oz is about home, courage, heart and reason.NOw, my opinion is that the show is about how your brain can mess you up - with icing on top.

Human is a creature of habit. And some humans take that to extent in terms of their eating habit - i'm part of that group. Apparently this syndrome is called 'Systematic Eating' - to be able to eat the same thing again - daily. The female cast of friend have been eating cobbs salad for 10 years, Bernie madoff always have a salmon cottage cheese bagel for lunch

As for me, it's always milk in the morning and oatmeal/Cereal.
The only time my eating habit changes is when i travel, i obviously will not make a fuss that i want an oatmeal in my accomodation.

While some people who like variety in food they eat, i am totally opposite. I can eat the same thing day by day by day. I would say probably i lack imagination of planning my weekly menu and i'm probably stingy when i do my groceries

I was in my late twenties when i finally heard this song. I did see this on some hymnal songs in church, but never actually heard it being sung. To top it all, i stumble on it only because one of the char in the anime i was watching was singing it (Fuji - Tennis Oujisama)



It became an instant hit for me and the song has been a mainstay in my ipod for a long time.

it took another 4 years for me to discove the beauty of this song. Again. thru an anime, Detective Conan. This song has been a recurrent theme in the Conan's specials - and while watching the anime, i realized why i like this song. Amazing grace is a song of forgiveness and hearing it somehow warms my heart.

At my age, where i have done alot of faults and many also hurted me, this song keeps me going.
